Message from our Founder & Formulator

“My own introduction to skincare was completely transformative. After suffering from hormonal adult acne in my early 20s and trying every skincare product that was at my disposal, I set out to create my own brand- initially for myself and my loved ones but it quickly evolved into a business Love Kiri.

Fast forward to 10 years down the line, I had my acne and post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation under control- I noticed those early signs of ageing; dry skin, fine lines around my eyes that caused my makeup to look ‘cakey’, pigmentation- not only on my face, but on my body as well. As a newly qualified Natural Skincare Formulator, I decided to throw everything into creating Biotrium. A cosmetics brand that helps women with maturing skin fall in love with themself again and embrace the privilege of witnessing the early signs of ageing.

This brand features clinically proven skincare formulations that include nature-identical actives like peptides and stable forms of Vitamin C. Through rigorous research and third-party safety assessments, Biotrium not only promises but also delivers tangible results.

On the other hand, Humanio™ is ideal for skincare beginners and those with sensitive skin, focusing primarily on concerns like blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The ingredient list is intentionally simplified to avoid causing unnecessary sensitivities, all while maintaining an affordable price point.

Each formulation for Biotrium and Humanio is designed by our expert, Kim, which ensures a consistent and high level of quality across all products. Manufactured in the UK, we maintain total control over ingredient sourcing and quality. Moreover, we have the support of third-party safety assessors and chemists to guarantee the safety and efficacy of each product.

Sustainability and Responsibility

Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our packaging choices. We use eco-friendly materials, with our glass being recyclable and our plastic comprised of 30% recycled material. When it comes to our serums, we go the extra mile by using either glass or refillable plastic tubes to further minimise environmental impact. We know we can do better, and that we owe it to the world to do better- that’s why we are committed to being constantly vigilent on our impact to the environment and make changes as soon as we have an opportuity.

Our Journey

Biotrium had humble beginnings in Kim’s kitchen back in 2020 and has grown over the years into a small, yet passionate team of four. Alongside this dedicated team, we also work with external safety assessors and chemists to meet and exceed industry standards.
